April Showers Bring May Flowers

Wow! The last couple weeks have been insane! I think I'm back to normal, still trying to figure out what normal for the summer is going to be! I actually gained a follower during my absence so that's pretty darn cool! I should be back to more regular posts, which is about 3x/wk for me.
For today I have the last challenge for ASBMF! I've wanted to experiment with stamping since probably February, when I first started getting obsessed with polish. I've tried it a couple times on paper and it didn't work out so well. I've been reading more about it and since I don't have 'special stamping polish' I searched on using other polish. You need thick laquer for it to work so I brought out a few of my older bottles and tested them to see if they would work. The best was Orly: Happily Ever Aver and so now I give you my first ever stamping manicure! Yay!
The Red flower is a Dahlia and the Yellow flower is from the Okra plant. I thought it was really pretty so I added it :)
So what do you think? I think I did pretty good. The pinky was my first one and then I had trouble with getting my scraper stuck in the images on either side so I changed designs. I also added a silver star to my ring finger. I need some practice placing my designs but I'm happy with it.
Now that I'm done with the Spring Challenge I'm going to check out what the other ladies did :)
